Carefully crafted from fully ripened fruit, fermented in open lagars, fortified at peak sweetness, then aged for 12 months in Portuguese oak pipes. Bottled unfiltered for authenticity and intensity.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep purple-black hue with vibrant garnet rim.

Nose: Ripe black plum, dark bramble, kirsch, and sweet apricot aromas layered with piquant spice and subtle fynbos notes.

Palate: Luscious core of plum, peach, ripe cherry, and blackberry, culminating in a sumptuous cocoa and liquorice aftertaste balanced by vibrant spice and supple tannins.

Finish: Long, elegant, with persistent chocolate-tinged fruit and refined oak warmth.
