Crafted by Blue Run Whiskey Director Shaylyn Gammon, this bourbon begins with a base that forms less than half of its composition, enhanced by two whiskeys aged in the upper reaches of their rickhouses for a distinctive wood heat character. The nose tantalizes with unsalted brown butter, French vanilla cream, warm dark brown sugar and cinnamon, and spicy pepper, complemented by juicy figs and dehydrated apples. The palate offers a silky texture, with notes of cinnamon spice-dusted candied apple, baked bread, caramel drizzle, peppermint, and white chocolate, balanced by a lingering wood char.
