Crafted from Pinot Noir vines over 60 years old, this wine reflects the full expression of Mercurey terroir. The Vieilles Vignes (old vines) offer low yields and intense concentration, resulting in a wine with depth, finesse, and age-worthy structure.
On the nose, expect vibrant red fruits like cherry and raspberry, with elegant undertones of spice and earthy minerality. The palate is generous yet balanced, showing ripe fruit, silky tannins, and a long, smooth finish. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (20% new), this vintage delivers harmony between oak and fruit, without overpowering delicacy.
Ideal for drinking now after light decanting, but will continue to develop beautifully over the next 58 years.
