Roberto Anselmi dropped the name Soave from his label when he added some local Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc to his Garganega grapes to produce a richer, more intense version of traditional Soave. San Vincenzo is now one of the benchmarks wines region. 70% Garganega, 30% Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, offering flavors of citrus, yellow peach and mineral set in a light to medium-bodied frame. 90 points – Wine Spectator, 92 points – James Suckling
