700mL | 4043% ABV | Highland Single Malt | Aged 10 Years | Sherry & Bourbon Casks | Natural Color
Edradour’s 10 Year Distillery Edition is a flagship Highland single malt produced in Scotland’s smallest traditional distillery. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks for a decade, it’s chill-filtered at either 40% (standard market) or 43% ABV (export markets), and presented in its natural color. Its handcrafted process and small-batch production shine through in the flavorful tapestry of the whisky.
Nose: Beginning with crisp green apple and candied orange, it opens into rich toffee, toasted almonds, leather, and clove. After resting, dark fruit notes of raisins, figs, and cherry emerge alongside subtle peat.
Palate: Full-bodied and luscious, featuring stewed apricot, rum-like sweetness, spiced fruitcake, creamy caramel, and hints of dark chocolate and nutmeg.
Finish: Medium-long, warming with drying oak tannins, baking spices, a touch of smoke, and lingering dried fruit and shortbread sweetness.
