The colour is a beautiful orange sapphire. The bouquets hows secondary aromas of orange peel, caramel, nuts and toffee. The taste is elegant aged flavours of caramel, toffee, roasted nuts and fruit cake.
Matured in 300litre barrels for 6-9 years. Predominantly made from Tinta Barocca with Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz. Beautifully foxy colour, scent of roasted almonds, cinnamon. Elegant, silky with salty tang on tail. A very special wine.Platter Wine Guide 2024,4 Stars – NV
