Two casks which were initially aged for 16 years in refill sherry butts were then married together to harmonise the individual cask influences and then finally, the whisky was disgorged in to Oloroso Sherry Butts to mature for another eight years. The Oloroso casks bestow notes of dark chocolate, nuttiness, and spiced, stewed fruits.
