It begins with 23 years in French oak Cabernet Franc barrels (Loire Valley), then finishes in toasted American white oak barrels that previously held Canadian or Tennessee rye whiskey. Bottled at 41.3% ABV, this additive-free tequila delivers remarkable depth and balance.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Rich amber with warm, toasted hues.
Nose: Buttery butterscotch and caramel intertwine with vanilla, baking spices, citrus peel, and a touch of oak.
Palate: Velvety and indulgent, offering toffee, walnut candy, custard, dark chocolate, pecan pie, orange zest, and cooked agave.
Finish: Long, satisfying, and slightly drywith lingering oak spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and sweet agave warmth.
