The liquid is bought in from a local distillery in Cape Town and bottled and packaged as Avant VSOP Brandy.

The 3 blends in this Brandy are a 4 year old that brings the caramel and toffee that South Africans expect from their brandy; a 5 year old has the cognac notes of dark fruit like prunes with apricot. It is finished off with a 7 year with its smooth, delicate vanilla notes that single malt scotch drinkers know so well.

Using the pot stilling method to extract maximum flavour and undergoing multiple distillations for smoothness,the brandy is then perfected in French oak barrels that enhance its velvety mouthfeel. The result is a brandy that’s both delicate and smooth, with unfolding notes of vanilla, the sweetness of citrus fruits and ripe peaches, and the warmth of caramel.
