A range of Craigellachie single malts was released for the first time in 2014. The distillery is known for its meaty character, and the 13-year-old is sweet, spicy and slightly smoky.

Nose:Aromas of oozing toasted marshmallows, and baked apples studded with cloves, with the tang of sulphury, cordite lingering in the background.

Palate:Delivers a malty and sweet complexity with a slight savoury smokiness and a refreshing tropical fruit.

Finish:A finish that is slightly smokey.
