750mL | 40% ABV (80 Proof) | Aejo Tequila | Tequila Los Abuelos, NOM 1493 | Aged ~18 Months in American Oak
Fortaleza Aejo is an artisanal tequila crafted with traditional methods at Tequila Los Abuelos in the heart of Jalisco. Made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley, the pias are slow-roasted in a stone oven, crushed using a tahona wheel, and fermented in open-air wooden tanks before being double-distilled in copper pot stills. The tequila is then aged for approximately 18 months in American oak barrels, imparting depth and character without overwhelming the agave’s natural vibrancy.
