Fortaleza Blanco is a traditionally produced tequila crafted at Tequila Los Abuelos in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco. Made from 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave, the pias are roasted in stone ovens, crushed with a tahona wheel, and fermented in open-air wooden tanks using ambient yeast. After double distillation in copper pot stills, the tequila is bottled unaged to preserve the pure, vibrant character of the agave.
Nose: Cooked agave, citrus, butter, and olive brine
Palate: Bright and creamy with notes of lime zest, earthy minerals, green olive, and sweet agave
Finish: Long and clean with layers of citrus, black pepper, and subtle salinity
Traditional production methods: brick ovens, tahona, wooden fermentation tanks
Unaged to showcase the fresh, herbal profile of the agave
