Known as The Maritime Malt, Old Pulteneys whiskies are shaped by sea air and time. This 15 Year Old expression is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a whisky that artfully combines rich depth with signature coastal freshness.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Deep amber with copper highlights.

Nose: An inviting mix of dried fruit and spice. Aromas of sultanas, candied orange peel, and rich toffee are layered with notes of honeycomb, sea salt, and gentle oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and silky smooth. Flavours of dark chocolate, ripe plum, and dried apricot are complemented by hints of vanilla, clove, and cinnamon, balanced by a refreshing maritime salinity.

Finish: Long, warming, and gently spicy with lingering notes of cocoa, oak, and a subtle coastal breeze.

Serving Suggestions: Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to enhance its complex layers. A superb pairing with seafood (especially smoked salmon or oysters), hard cheeses, or dark chocolate. Its balance of richness and maritime freshness also makes it a fantastic contemplative dram.
